Account Executive NYC – General Job Description and Duties
We’re seeking a qualified account executive to service our existing in-person, hybrid, and virtual event clients, and develop new opportunities and clientele. Our ideal candidate will have previous audiovisual production experience, an interest and background in the visual arts, be detail oriented, have excellent communication skills, and a desire to produce successful projects that get results. Your role will require initiative, dedication and the ability to work as part of a team with a common vision.
Account Executive Objectives
- Develop new opportunities and grow our client base, CRM, and marketing database
- Generate profitable growth for the company
- Manage our client events and projects so that we deliver a successful experience each and every time
- Gather and execute all details for each project so the technical team has all the information that they need to succeed
- Develop long term relationships with our clients to keep them coming back month after month, year after year
- Be our BRAND AMBASSADOR at all times
- Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, and work with the team to grow our profitable business
Business Development
- Daily and Weekly Contact with existing clients to maintain and develop our key relationships
- Actively engage in networking opportunities and trade associations to meet new industry contacts
- Accurately move clients from one step to another in the sales cycle – Lead > Prospect> Needs Analysis > Proposal > Decision > Execution > Follow Up
- Educate new and existing clients on all our product offerings in Live Event and Technical Services
- Engage new prospects and existing clients via phone, email, social media, mailings, and in person meetings
- Meet and exceed sales goals for revenues and gross profits
- Use the CAVS process to determine client needs and develop proposals
- Develop estimates, scope of work, and proposals for clients and prospects in a timely fashion
Account Management
- Properly enter all estimates and orders for client events, accurately and with detailed notes to ensure the proper equipment, technical staff, and delivery
- Enter all order dates as soon as possible so that other departments can start working on the events
- Consistently update and enter all client interaction into Flex Software and CRM databases to ensure the most accurate client and prospect information
- Put together all show folder information and prepare it online and physically for all Audiovisual and Lighting Engineers
- Manage show setup and event when required
- Consistently strive to exceed the client’s expectations and deliver a positive client experience
- Conduct site surveys of the venue to prepare the technical team for the job order
- Work with the client to determine all needs from content management to logistics, to ensure a smooth and successful event
Expectations
- The office is located in Midtown Manhattan (37th between 8th & 9th)
- While we have some flexibility at times for WFH, this is an office based position
Audiovisual Engineer NYC – General Job Description and Duties
We’re seeking a qualified audiovisual engineer to service our existing in-person, hybrid, and virtual event clients. Our ideal candidate will have 3 – 5 years of previous audiovisual technical production experience, specifically in setting up, operating, and striking all live audio, video, lighting, and staging equipment. Our clients are a range of corporate, hospital, healthcare, and nonprofit organizations, and they hold their events in hotels, conference centers, corporate offices, catering/event spaces, and outdoors. Our audiovisual engineers are detail oriented, have excellent communication skills, and a desire to produce successful projects that get results. Your role will require initiative, dedication and the ability to work as part of a team with a common vision.
Technical Responsibilities
- Deliver and pickup all equipment from the job site
- Review all orders, modify pull sheets as needed, and prep equipment
- Pre-production work when required such as site surveys, electrical and signal flow layouts, entertainment riders, content management, venue logistics, etc.
- Setup all audio, video, lighting, and staging equipment
- Operate all audio, video, lighting and streaming equipment as the technical lead
- Strike all audio, video, lighting and staging equipment
- Lead a team of part-time and freelance staff onsite to accomplish our goals and deliver an exceptional client experience
- Act as our lead client contact onsite and deliver exceptional service to our clients
Expectations
- The office and warehouse is located in Midtown Manhattan (37th between 8th & 9th)
- The candidate must be able to lift at least 50 lbs, climb ladders, and kneel, crouch or crawl
- The candidate must be able to legally and safely drive a van in NYC
